What kind of chocolate do you use?

All of our handmade truffles, chocolates and novelties are made using 100% finest Callebaut chocolate, imported from Belgium.

Do your products contain Gluten?

While almsot all of our truffles and chocolates do not contain Gluten, ALL of our products may have come in contact with Gluten.

Are your products Vegan Friendly?

Any of our plain Dark Chocoalte novelties are vegan friendly. These items are made with no decorating or colouring and are simply, 100% Dark Chocoalte. If there is a product not listed as availabe in Dark or that has colouring, it can be special ordered to be Vegan at no additional cost. Just give us a call or email us to find out more.

Do your products contain nuts?

While many of our truffles and chocolates do not have nuts as an ingredient, our peanut brittles and nut clusters do contain nuts. ALL of our products may have come in contact with nuts.

What the difference between milk chocolate and dark chocolate?

Our Milk chocolate contains milk products so it is more sweet than dark chocolate. Our Dark chocolate contains no milk product and has 55% cocoa. It is semi-sweet, but not bitter. We also have a 77% cocoa bar which is Tanzanian chocolate. The higher the cocoa content, the more bitter the chocolate.

Can I ship orders as a gift?

Yes! Simply enter the name and address of recipient on the "Shipping Information" page during checkout. During the summer months we do turn off the shipping option for areas out side out Delivery Zone due to temperature control concerns.

What is The Nutty Chocolatier's return policy?

If for any reason you have any questions or concerns regarding a purchase you have made, please contact us. We will exchange any unopened products purchased by phone or email.

What are your shipping rates?

We offer free delivery in Durham Region, Toronto and Richmond Hill on orders of $30 or more (before tax). Outside our delivery zoon is based on outside shipping companies rates, our website will calulate and charge you based on a real time quote from Canada Posts website. What currency are your prices listed in?

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Your credit card will be charged in Canadian dollars.

What forms of payment do you accept online?

We accept E-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal. All cards are processed via Paypal's secure system, it will allow you to use any credit card without an account.

How do I change or cancel an order?

Please phone us right away @ 1-888-631-6666. Office hours are 8am - 4 pm Monday to Friday. We regret that orders cannot be changed or cancelled once they’ve been shipped.

I'm located in the USA but am shipping to someone in Canada, is this possible?

Yes! We recommend putting the receivers Canadian address in both Billing and Shipping on our website. When you get directed to the Paypal site, you will be able to edit the billing information to yours so that your credit card company will approve the charge. Be sure to use your email address or the receiver will get the confirmation email and not you.
